I needed bypass heart surgery, had it all approved and a surgery date. Two days before the surgery the hospital called and said the hospital was closed except for emergency surgery and my surgery was considered elective. After the hospital reopened my insurance tried to deny my surgery saying that it was a elective surgery. Then I had a heart attack while waiting for insurance to approve the surgery. I almost died because of the lies told and the delay of the surgery.
