Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania know how to resist Putin’s gray zone warfare thanks to Ukraine. Lithuania's president says intelligence points to Russia planning attacks on critical infrastructure like energy grids and transport systems, the same week Latvia gave the identical warning and Estonia dealt with Russian border guards cr

There are only two possible scenarios when an armed group crosses the border. Either they are wearing Russian insignia and are shot on sight, or they are not wearing any insignia and are shot on sight. Both are entirely appropriate reactions.
@ecbftl
Very clearly this is how the game is being played, thanks for the overview.

Russia is incredibly stubborn. And delusional. They could have played nice and reaped huge benefits from commerce with the West. Now, after years of wasting manpower and resources NOT defeating Ukraine, they choose to expand their aggression? Against a new opponent, which is now better prepared to defend its territory than it was 4 1/2 years ago? Is this purely barbaric behavior that is incapable of learning any better way?

I agree that the most likely test of NATO will be in the Baltic. Probably where a Russian speaking minority can be used as an excuse.
@Korschtal
The German 95th Brigade is already in Lithuania, ready to support our neighbours.

Hearing the strategy being employed? Makes me have hope! Thanks Wes. 👍

The 3 Baltics each have a NATO Battle Group as, at least a tripwire. Estonia's is British-led, Latvia's - Canadian, Lithuania's - German.
@svintoks
Thank you for that report Wes. Much appreciated. Keep well and my best wishes to you and yours. Crimea is Ukraine

Its better to take care of russian sabotage and all greyzone bs without pressreleases.
@eda7505
May I suggest that Lithuanian and Poland notify Belarus that it is responsible for any drones coming from their air space. If the drone is Russian then Kaliningrad gets a probe. Good move on working with Ukraine - Suggest you send over some troops to Ukraine to learn how to use Ukraine equipment in combat situations...Peace to the Fallen.

Good move Lithuania, russias little green men Should be shot on sight, no questions asked! We all know what pukin is up to with these incursions so fight back Hard! These are the new tactics of war folks, keep it in the grey zone and keep doing it.

Putin used his ‘Little Green Men’ tactic back in 2014 with the annexation of Crimea. It’s interesting how former Soviet States treat their independence seriously, Latvia 🇱🇻 Lithuania 🇱🇹 Estonia 🇪🇪 and Poland 🇵🇱 will not tolerate Putin’s Games. His Grey War tactics have been used by him just about everywhere in the free world.

Always interesting!
