This sounds a little like the movie "The Forbin Project" which predicted a lot of this 55 years ago (although the jargon didn't exist). On the other hand, having retired from 40 years in corporate America, I can see whole departments simply vanish to be replaced by AI programs that are infinitely better, faster and thoroughly accurate.
