Here is a detailed breakdown of the content from the video titled "creating a 'Crybaby Cat Girl' POP MART style art toy" by svv art:

1. Introduction & Planning (00:00:00 - 00:03:32)

Overview: The creator transforms their "Crybaby Catgirl" character design (voted by Patreon patrons) into a physical Pop Mart–style art toy. [00:06]

Project Organization: Using Milanote, the creator sets up a visual landing page, mood boards, color swatches, annotations, a materials list, and a to-do list. [00:20]

Character Design (Procreate):

res a shy, closed-off kneeling pose to evoke emotion. [02:02]

Background story: She is a child scratched by her pet cat, holding her favorite blue fish plushy for comfort. [02:07]

Attire: Monotone gray-striped long sleeve, gray socks, and black shorts to keep focus on the colorful cat details and blue fish. [02:25]

2. 3D Modeling & Printing (00:03:32 - 00:05:20)

Sculpting in Nomad Sculpt:

Uses a base head, forms a torso/neck, and draws symmetrical kneeling legs using the tube tool. [03:37]

Extrudes clothes, hair, and facial fea

tures using the mask tool. [03:59]

Foam Skull Modification:

Rather than 3D printing the entire head (which would block felting needles), the back of the skull is sliced off to fit a foam core for needle felting. [04:31]

Adds a connecting block to join the printed face, neck, and foam hood securely. [04:54]

Printing: Succeeds on the 4th printing attempt. [05:10]

3. Surface Preparation & Painting (00:05:20 - 00:09:01)

embroidery thread, stitches on a button eye, and places it in the catgirl's arms. [12:24]

Design Decision: The original plan included UV resin tears, but they were ultimately left out to avoid crowding the face details. [12:50]

6. Final Reveal (00:13:42 - 00:14:35)

The completed Crybaby Catgirl Pop Mart–style art toy is showcased, highlighting the tactile contrast between the soft needle-felted hood/plushy and the smooth 3D-printed/painted details. [13:42]

I can totally see why you decided to not add the tears, but i was so excited to see them! I really like this version tho, like, the plushie conforted her so much that she doesn't cry anymore :3
@roroyoureboat
I love how she USES the sponsors instead of just talking about them
@Strings.n.Glitches
10:30 "questionable shape" and proceed to make another questionable shape with the fish plushie 12:35

I LOVE HER SM I feel like the fact that the hat is felted on, similar to figures being flocked, could make her the secret figure of the line!
@sharkyface
Considering how many of these you've made now, I think you should start calling them "svv style art toys" ❤
@bird_b0nezz
stop this is so cute. she’s definitely a little girl whose obsessed with cats, and was so excited to have one of her own, that maybe she overwhelmed the kitten and caused the slash. and she’s absolutely heartbroken over it
@PinkBunny_1001
u now need to design a blind box to put your figures inside !! 🤩🤩
@bigyeebus

@Aki.likes.gazpacho
Since she’s looking up its like she stopped crying and is being comforted by a taller figure like a parent and was handede her toy. Shes so cute 😭
@YellowMiso
Absolutely adorable!! Could the uv resin potentially be inside the eyes instead of on her cheek? It’s as if shes on the brink of tears lol
@BeaBo-Alien
Love how you narrate like it’s a professional tutorial and then the editor just pasted a cat image that says balls

I am such a crybaby cat girl too. I have been rescuing strays off the street with my mom for a long time now. We trap, neuter/spay, and try to find them homes. This is a bit embarrassing to admit but sometimes when I think I have made progress with a feral adult cat, out of nowhere I get clawed, and I sometimes cry about it! I know kitty means nothing by it, sometimes they do so to inform me about their boundaries, sometimes they are just playing rough. But I am a very tender, neurodivergent individual and sometimes I can't help but get hurt, even though I know I'm being overly emotional about it. I can't help it, tears start flowing against my will, annoyingly so. Even the spiciest of cats always come back though, and we resume our cuddling :)

i love the difference of texture!! it makes it so visually dynamic. i love the added blush on the cheeks im a total sucker for that. i will say i kinda wish you put the blush on her knees too? but i understand why you keep the bodies simple. either way great job
